Over the last one week, 35 neighborhood parks in zone 3 (USJ2-USJ15) was surveyed at night, to determine whether the lighting is sufficient or not. Below is the findings. I would like your feedback on this, as we more forward to bring improvements. Please note that the priority ranking is just a guideline on which order the projects are done, as we have limited funds to do all one shot. (The lower priority does not indicate that we don't care about the park, please don't perceive it as such).

    • Very hilly area. Needs more lights, but not spot lights to cover the hill, especially spots overlooking people’s house
    • Med priority

    • No lights at divider hills, badminton court, mosque car park
    • High priority
    • No lights at football field, maybe to install at the corners/perimeters

    • 3 corners of the padang are badly lighted, middle is okay

    • Could get Prasarana to provide the lights as it will be near the LRT station
