Last Sunday, 24th January, I joined the Senior Citizens Club of Subang Jaya for their luncheon even at Lakeview Club as a councillor of MPSJ as well as representing ADUN Subang Jaya YB Hannah Yeoh.

In my speech, I highlighted
  • We appreciate them.
  • YB Hannah Yeoh's pledge of RM3000 for the club to organize their activity
  • Support for the setting up of a clubhouse/activity center for senior citizens in USJ.
  • That the Balai Masyarakat MPSJ in USJ2, which was formerly an UMNO controlled hall, has just been air-conditioned and is now available for their usage for FREE.
  • In our rising concern over security, that we at JKP3 (USJ2-15) have started a voluntary patrolling unit (VPU). This is to join forces with the police to keep the neighboorhood safe. There are members of their club who are already volunteers, and encouraged more to join.
  • that we are open to suggestions and ideas, and they are encouraged to share any with us
