Sigh, despite creating parking space for heavy vehicles, they still refuse to park there and insist on creating congestion and unease in neighborhoods. The parking lot at TP2 is just less than 5mins away from his house in USJ12

A BUS owner in USJ12 Subang Jaya received a total of 75 summonses from the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) since 2005 where 21 of the cases occurred in January, Kosmo! reported yesterday.

The summonses came so regularly that it was a daily ritual for S.A. Sahathevan to walk from the porch of his house to pick up the notices which were placed at the windscreen of his two school buses at 10pm.

The total summonses that he has accumulated to-date amounted to more than RM75,000, with daily summonses amounting to RM1,000.

Sahathevan had cried foul over the matter as he claimed that he should not be penalised for the council's failure to provide for bus parking.

The council, he claimed, had promised to provide the parking space for his buses at RM300 per month for each bus.

He is refusing to pay the summonses and is threatening to take the matter to court if it is not resolved soon.
